About the Team

The Integration Lifecycle team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the integration framework at Workday. As a team, we work hard and play hard – we believe that teamwork, innovation, and quality are key to our success, while also embracing our culture of fun!
We support the tremendous growth of our integration framework, providing both customers and internal teams with solutions to maintain the integrity of customer data, and other business critical functions.
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Development Engineer to join us in building robust, powerful, and compelling software Workday integrations and bring us to the next level in the constantly evolving enterprise environment.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to drive the design, development, and delivery of shared components and integration frameworks used for Workday connections to other on-premises and on-demand solutions. Working alongside highly qualified application development and integration specialists, you will use our standards-based technologies and toolset to expand Workday's enterprise business offering.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Manager, Quality Assurance Engineers, and other Software Engineers on design and analysis of requirements

• Develop robust, efficient code using an Object Oriented language

• Build and maintain automated tests 

• Triage and resolve customer reported cases

• Learn from other team members through mentoring, code reviews, and shared communication tools

About You

Basic qualifications: ​

• 2+ years experience with Object Oriented Programming languages (Java, C#, etc)

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field

• Experience with HTTP, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON and other key web standards

Other qualifications:

• Proven ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to teammates and stakeholders

• Experience building framework code and enterprise integration applications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with strong collaboration skills

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle
