Sr Associate, Threat Management Coordinator

Role Description:

Northern Trust’s Security Operations team is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented candidate to support the creation, maturation, and execution of a cybersecurity threat management program focused on coordinating NT’s response to emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Threat Management Lead in strategic management of the practice
• Coordinate regular and event calls with diverse stakeholder groups, including executive management, subject matter experts, and operational personnel
• Produce practice deliverables, including but not limited to: post-incident / threat analyses, root cause analyses, executive briefings, meeting minutes, and status updates
• Develop and maintain administrative documentation, including threat management plans, playbooks, and metrics

Skills / Qualifications:

• General understanding of information security
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience with project management / coordination
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Preferred, but Not Required, Skills / Qualifications:

• Security+, GSEC, or SSCP
• Knowledge of the Fusion incident management model
• Experience with ADO boards
• Technical writer experience
