Responsibilities

QA Automation

Highly experienced in UI automation scripting ,building and maintaining automation test framework using Java/JavaScript with Selenium or Testcafe

- Strong understanding and experience working with object repository, SQL queries and GUI design standards, especially as they relate to test automation object recognition

- Sound Knowledge/Understanding of RESTful APIs (preferably REST ASSURED) and testing via SOAP UI, Postman or similar tools

- Experience in web services automation with strong REST API automation experience and UI automation experience

- GIT, JIRA and working knowledge of Quality Assurance processes.

- Experience working in an Agile software development environment is preferred

- Preferred experience on Java or equivalent with software development fundamentals.

- Sound knowledge with continuous integration/continuous deployment and build tools (i.e. TestNG , JUnit, Maven, Jenkins or equivalent) and using an industry standard source control management system

- 1+ years of NodeJS & STIBO experience is highly preferred.

- Basic knowledge on one of the major Cloud platform (preferably GCP)

- Hands-on experience in developing BDD/TDD scenarios (Cucumber, Fitnesse etc.)

- Experience with structuring the automated testing tasks on multiple projects, estimating schedules, resources and dependencies

- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on project needs.

• Experience with Retail domain is a plus

Nice to Have: Security Testing , Performance Testing

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
