Sr Back End Engineer (RPA/Python/UiPath)

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing RPA solutions using UiPath to automate medical billing and insurance claim processes.
• Participating in the entire RPA development lifecycle, from process analysis and design to development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient RPA workflows that adhere to best practices and industry standards.
• Implementing error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the reliability and stability of automated processes.
• Conducting thorough testing of RPA solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to RPA implementations in production environments.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest UiPath features and best practices, and applying them to improve existing automations.
• Mentoring junior RPA developers and sharing knowledge within the team.
• Ensuring that all RPA solutions comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive medical data.
• Actively participating in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the team's processes, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in RPA development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with UiPath.
• Strong proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and related tools within the UiPath ecosystem.
• Experience with UiPath certifications (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional Developer) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of RPA concepts, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and REST APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work effectively within a diverse, globally distributed team.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and a track record of applying them in real-world projects.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry processes and terminology is a plus.
• Startup experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
