Sentara Health Plan is hiring for a Senior Business Analyst

This is a Full-Time position, fully remote, with day shift hours and great benefits!

Work Location:

Remote opportunities available in the Easter and Central time in the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

Job Responsibilities

Designs, produces and analyzes reporting data.

Creates and maintains reports for business operations and special projects.

They will be supporting the government lines of business for Sentara - Medicare Medicaid products.

Take data extracts and work through it. Make business presentations to management.

Working to do mapping for work flow and processes.

Lead meetings internally & externally. Partner with the Data Analytics team to fulfill the requirements for getting the data extracts.

Working through large datasets provide data visualization.

Support UAT Testing.

Job Requirements:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree - Required

2+ years of relevant experience

MS Excel

Tableau

MLD - Master's Level Degree - Preferred

Familiarity with SQL

Understanding of Data Analysis

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation and support of quality initiatives within assigned areas. Provides subject matter expertise related to quality initiative implementation, reporting and analysis. Is a liaison between internal/external customers and Information Technology for business definition, scope, testing and implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer knowledge to improve business practices.

Master's degree preferred.
