Role

The Senior Business Analyst works cross-functionally within the business unit or at the Company-level to analyze potential projects, business strategies and models to determine their viability, as well as identifies opportunities to improve operational performance.

These solutions may involve business process improvements, operational planning activities, performance reporting, financial administration, and business playbooks. This Senior Business Analyst will provide support with project management and communication services for the Business Support department which includes business transformation, talent, organizational performance, external communications, and human resources.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategic analysis in the form of planning and scoping to inform stakeholder decisions
• Lead Complex projects or strategic initiatives that drive value at the Company-level
• Partner across multiple domains to deliver projects or programs
• Identify and address operational, financial, or technological risks within the department or across the business
• Define and iteratively implement frameworks, tools, and processes to accelerate the achievement of objectives and goals
• Research and recommend new business strategies and business models, taking all aspects into consideration and providing insight into how these strategies will benefit the Company
• Lead the development of an annual performance measurement plan, inclusive of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and/or KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Plan, prepare, and present performance results to leadership. Uphold commitment to accuracy and drive accountability to presented content.

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Math, Analytics, Economics, Data Science or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in analysis, development and implementation of strategy and business processes at a department or enterprise level
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with domain expertise
• Expertise with business operations and management tools and frameworks
• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting tools.
• High degree of initiative and capacity to lead multiple priorities of significant scope in a fast-paced environment
• Problem solving mindset and solution-enabler; ability to identify problems, make decisions and drive innovative solutions
• Understanding of the Crown business model and the telecommunications industry

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
