Collaboration Products

The Collaboration Products team are passionate individuals at Airbnb who deliver Collaboration Capabilities that enable living and working anywhere.  Our team is divided into four pods, Project and Portfolio Mgmt, Service Mgmt, Visualizations and Connections.

Collaboration Products team is responsible for managing the tech stack and ecosystem of our core collaboration technologies for our employees across the globe.  By the end of 2025, we aim to deliver a fully cloud-based, consolidated and streamlined collaboration tech stack that enables our core collaboration capabilities for internal Airbnb teams

The difference you will make

The Senior Cloud Engineer for Collaboration Products owns, implements and manages the cloud based collaboration products tech stack to continuously discover, manage, optimize, automate, protect and govern adoption.  While tech-savvy, the Sr Cloud Engineer is focused on maximizing business returns on collaboration product investments while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulation. The Sr Cloud Engineer possesses a natural curiosity and strong analytical skills useful for solving complex problems, complemented by collaboration skills and strong relationships across IT, security, procurement, and business stakeholder teams.

A Typical Day

• Own and administer the SaaS collaboration tech stack and ecosystem , including:
• Tool selection, deployment and maintenance
• Configuration and customization
• Alignment to business and IT requirements; vendor Product roadmaps
• Reporting dashboards
• Cross application Integration Roadmap & hands-on delivery
• Role-based user access management
• Integration with IT service mgmt, software asset mgmt, self-service catalog, identity and security tools

• Own technical design and project execution across collaboration product technologies
• Detail out technology solutions, support with development and test strategies
• Sequence deliverables for optimization and efficiency
• Coach engineers to resolve technical challenges, deliver prototypes or POCs as needed
• Implement technical solutions improving on current standards, as needed

• Manage the cloud based collaboration tech stack and ecosystem: 
• • Discover SaaS usage; partner with teams experimenting with new applications
  • Process requests for new SaaS applications in partnership with Software Review Committee
  • Manage and optimize SaaS configuration, policies and availability
  • Automate SaaS onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support governance of SaaS vendor relationships

Your Expertise

• 5+ years in a Developer, Sales Engineering, Consulting Professional Services in a SaaS/cloud environment
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments
• 3+ years of experience with SaaS management or administration
• Hands-on development, automation and scripting experience with JSON, RESTful APIs, Java, Groovy, Python among others; Mulesoft experience is a huge plus
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing integrations between SaaS and/or on-prem solutions

How We'll Take Care of You:

The starting base pay for this role is between $144,000 and $194,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
