Scope:

The core focus of this position is to help establish scalable governance for cloud spend, discovering, identifying, analyzing opportunities of cloud cost optimization

Our current technical environment:
• Software: Excel, PowerBI, Azure SQL Server data warehouse, Azure APIs for billing and reserved instances

What you'll do:

• Provide transparent and effective reporting and communication of cloud costs and savings opportunities.
• Provide summaries and detailed usage statistics for cloud resources that offer meaningful intelligence to right-size and scale services for optimal cost and performance.
• Define and be responsible for the public cloud capacity model, forecasting and annual budget.
• Be responsible for the financial aspects of our cloud strategy.
• Provide transparent and effective reporting and communication of cloud costs and savings opportunities.
• Provide summaries and detailed usage statistics for cloud resources that offer meaningful intelligence to right-size and scale services for optimal cost and performance.
• Define and be responsible for the public cloud capacity model, forecasting and annual budget.
• Be responsible for the financial aspects of our cloud strategy.

• What we are looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in related business, process, or operational field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in business analyst, project management or related role
• Software/SaaS industry experience preferred
• Experience in public and/or private cloud expense management and cost optimization.
• Effective partnering with both business and financial stakeholders as well as technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing executive stakeholders, building relationships, defining business cases, and driving consensus.
• Analytical and critical questioning nature with a bias toward data-driven decision making.
• Experience in a Finance related discipline is recommended including budgeting and expense management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and SME
• Experience in reaching quick consensus with different groups to accelerate project implementation
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills; Experience with Power Query, Data Models, DAX and data visualization
