We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Compensation Analyst. The Sr Compensation Analyst will contribute to enhance compensation program by developing detailed reports and analytics-based recommendations to leadership to ensure our programs are externally competitive and internally aligned. Compensation programs include base salary, bonus, and equity incentives as components to an employee’s total compensation package.

The salary target for this role is $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 depending on experience. This position also offers a bonus opportunity.

We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. Primary Job Functions

Provide reporting and analytics to Executive Leadership

  • Provide Quarterly compensation updates for leadership / Board on bonuses, equity incentives (Feb, May, Sep, Nov)

  • Provide annual internal analysis to leadership on salary, bonus, equity incentive plan using benchmarking (external and internal peer comparisons) and provide recommended guidelines for target merit and/or other compensation enhancements. (Aug-Oct)

  • Provide the annual Board report on comp, equity benchmarking, calendar year bonus recommendations, following year comp actions (Dec)

Understand current competitive compensation programs which include base compensation, bonus, and equity program structures.

  • Regularly review the Corporate Bonus Programs to reflect market and company goals and provide recommendations for updates to the programs

  • Manage the bonus programs in Workday / Excel; establish data structure for ongoing modeling and reporting

  • Set up compensation, bonus, and equity programs and analytics in Workday

  • Analyze compensation data to ensure internal equity

  • Work with HR to determine / recommend individual compensation plans

Understand and provides input on equity/equity incentive components of total compensation

  • Understand the equity/equity incentive programs as it relates to total compensation; partner with Equity Management to establish recommendations for programs’ participation

  • Analyze and provide feedback as appropriate; establish data structure for ongoing modeling and reporting.

Consult with internal management and external resources to benchmark plans to market

  • Work with HR / internal management to consult on new positions, department compensation analyses, or other compensation-related questions

  • Work with external firms to map roles; assist with analysis as needed

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related

  • 7+ years’ experience as a compensation analyst / consultant

  • Experience with complex compensation structures; and bonus and equity incentive programs.

  • Excellent documentation skills when developing comp grids; ranges and analysis

  • Proven communication skills when working with leaders at all levels

  • Advanced Excel / PPT skills for developing analytical presentations that drive action

  • Knowledge of market statistics and salary scales and pay rate research, payroll procedures, labor legislation

  • Familiarity with Workday, PayFactors or other online compensation or related software experience.
