Sr Compensation Analyst

Do you enjoy being the resident expert advising others in your area of expertise? As a Sr Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for the development and operations of our compensation programs to ensure that the organization has competitive pay and recognition practices that align with Sierra Space strategic goals. You will be driving compensation projects from design through execution, including modeling, project planning, communicating, and training. You will monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines, and perform audits on pay and bonuses. You will partner with other HR teams in job evaluation and review job descriptions, market pricing of jobs, and internal leveling. You will also analyze market data to assess competitiveness on base and total cash compensation.
Sierra Space-based in Louisville, CO with operations in Madison, WI, Durham, NC, Huntsville, AL, Houston, TX, and Kennedy Space Center, FL-designs and manufactures the Dream Chaser spaceplane and other advanced spacecraft, commercial space destinations, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers, and international organizations. Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support for compensation matters through detailed analysis, consultation, and recommendations to HR Business Partners and business leaders.
• Support the design, implementation, and communication of enterprise-wide compensation projects, including job architecture, short-term, and long-term incentives.
• Manage the annual merit and bonus programs, including design, delivery, and training.

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and typically 10 years or more of related work experience.
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Extensive background in data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical role in business, program or operations management
• Advanced experience Microsoft Excel data analysis including Pivot table, index match, nested if statements
• Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.

Preferred:

• Experience with Workday HCM applications, PayFactors, PowerBI, or Tableau
• High-growth, technology environment or start up experience preferred

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,552.10 - $165,759.14. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
