The Sr Copywriting Manager is responsible for developing compelling and accurate content to communicate the benefits of the Carrington family of companies' products, services, differentiators and brand messages. Content created must effectively drive consumer engagement and build upon Carrington's mission, vision and values. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr plus annual bonus.
What you'll need:
- Produce highly polished, engaging and persuasive content for many types of marketing materials including emails, flyers and brochures, websites, articles, internal and external communications and presentations.
- Develop and implement brand tone and voice consistently across all channels; create and maintain a copywriting style guide applicable to both business-to-business and business-to-consumer messaging goals.
- Develop and execute strategic content plans consistent with business goals and the holistic company marketing strategy.
- Research industry and market trends, competitor messaging and product positioning to inform content and provide differentiated content for Carrington.
- Track copy effectiveness and utilize A/B testing and other best practices to improve performance of key content.
- Build expertise through relationship with businesses leaders to serve as a subject matter expert for the marketing team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align copy with goals and leverage the best methods to reach our various target audiences.
- Ensure effective communication between business and internal stakeholders, shared services and leadership, as well as effectively collaborate with marketing stakeholders.
- Optimize web content with SEO best practices to maximize content visibility and drive organic traffic to campaigns.
- Serve as a key editor and proofreader for the marketing organization.
- Create content that supports marketing efforts to raise brand awareness and improve customer experience.
- Must be comfortable working under tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards for quality of
work.
- Expert skill in writing, editing and proofreading; must possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- A solid understanding of SEO best practices and principles.
- Excellent communication and analytical skill, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Superior ability to write and communicate with others accurately, audibly, and quickly
- Problem solver with proven ability to identify opportunities for content optimization
- Team player able to work with cross functional teams and peers
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
- Minimum of six (6) years' experience in copywriting, content creation and/or marketing communications.
- Corporate marketing and communications experience supporting multiple lines of business preferred.
- Mortgage and real estate experience strongly preferred.
