PosiGen is looking to hire a Senior Data Developer with Snowflake experience to help drive impactful insights through the delivery of pivotal data products tailored to the solar industry.  Our data solutions make a meaningful impact on customer success sales performance marketing and internal processes that drive insights and efficiency.

This is a hybrid position based in Houston TX.

Essential Job Functions

• Implement and maintain consistently available database systems

• Develop and maintain data models using DBT data flow diagrams and system architecture

• Collaborate with stakeholders and Data Architect to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable efficient and secure data and system solutions

• Work with Integration and Analytic resources to define data models to support integrations and analytics

• Leverage tools for DataOps (CI/CD)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Data Science or related field

• 8+ years of work experience; 10+ years of experience in related work if no degree (Master’s Degree may substitute two (2) years’ of work experience)

• Proficient in SQL DBT and ELT/ETL processes

• Creating and maintaining Stored Procedures

• Highly experienced in Snowflake

• Ability to perform data analysis identify source data issues and provide written recommendations for data quality

• Capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions

• Strong knowledge of data integration data warehousing data governance best practices and security controls

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team to translate tasks into deliverables

• Effective at designing and implementing solutions that meet scalability and performance requirements

Experience SQL: 8 Years (Required) Snowflake: 4 Years (Required) Python: 5 years (Preferred) BI Tools (Sigma Computing Tableau Power BI etc): 4 Years (Preferred)
