In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize large-scale data infrastructure and pipelines that support complex client integrations and high-volume analytics. You will have the opportunity to shape enterprise-level data architecture, lead high-impact initiatives, and mentor junior engineers, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from APIs, cloud platforms, and databases
  • Lead complex, high-impact data engineering projects from conception to delivery
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance for data engineering
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client engineering partners to define integration strategies and requirements
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Drive improvements in data quality, observability, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance policies

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    • 6+ years of experience in cloud data architecture, design, and governance
    • Strong experience with Azure services including Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, and Synapse
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java for data engineering tasks
    • Hands-on experience with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka on Azure
    • Familiarity with relational databases and modern data storage solutions
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
    • Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor team members
    • Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
