Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Database development for an application to run with a Cloud Native Microservices Architecture• Collaborate on database design with internal stakeholders and application development teams.• Maintain database by determining structural requirements and developing and installing solutions.• Design and implement software modules and interfaces among databases• Analyze data sets, ranging from sparse datasets to large data and/or unstructured datasets, in order to
extract insights, and drive further research opportunities• Document, summarize, and present findings to customers, subject matter experts, and other data scientists• Work across multiple agile software development teams.• Work within the Scrum process• Lead the application development teams through technical supervision of the design, testing, and
modification stages.• Analyze technical feasibility through proof of concepts.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience architecting databases for cloud native microservices applications.• Hands on experience as a developer• Experience with Kafka and an event driven architecture• Experience with DevOps and related tools• Experience with database architecture and development• Experience with agile software development and the use of the scrum process• Should be able to work individually or in a team setup, spread geographically.• Excellent communication skills• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with others inside and outside of the team• Experience in the financial services industries is a plus

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,300-$165,700
