Sr Director, Communications

About the role:
The HR Communications Partner will support our Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and her team in leading the creation and implementation of a communications strategy that supports CHRO executive communications, associate engagement, change management and the ongoing growth of our business.
What you'll do:
- Build a trusted communications advisor relationship with the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer
- Partner with the CHRO, her leadership team, and key partners to develop and execute a communications strategy and tactical editorial calendar that supports HR objectives, key initiatives, and annual, compulsory activities.
- Lead a small team in the creation and execution of associate communications including:
- HR town halls
- Live Q&A sessions
- Keynote scripts
- Formal presentations
- Announcements
- Posts
- Collaborate with other Communications Partners to drive alignment of communications activities across relevant teams
- Produce compelling content that:
- Helps associates embrace, manage, and adapt to change
- Increases associate awareness of tools, resources, and information to be more effective
- Drives associate understanding, alignment, and participation with major HR initiatives
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
- Ability to create strong, productive relationships with executive and senior leaders
- 8+ years' internal communications experience, inclusive of an executive function
- Experience leading, developing and executing enterprise-wide and business-unit specific communications programs with multiple stakeholders
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Motivation and drive to continuously improve self and others
- Exceptional collaboration skills
