Sr Director, Design Technology - (M7)

As a Senior Director, you will be part of a highly experienced team with skillsets ranging from Material/Process engineering to Design Enablement and System level designs for a wide variety of applications including Edge AI, IOT, Automotive, Sensors etc. at bleeding edge nodes. You will lead the team in charge of SoC Design and Validation, including Analog/Mixed Signal, Digital Design, Silicon validation, software for AI simulation & silicon bring-up and customer demos. Your responsibilities will include managing this team and deadlines, forming, and executing deep collaborations/partnerships with internal partners, industry leaders and university partners. You will work with business development to formulate product roadmaps, define architecture, and execute to the roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SoC design, silicon validation, AI Neural Network demos and Software
• Define roadmap, milestones, and key deliverables for each phase of the multi-year project
• Lead the team of Analog/Mixed-Signal, Digital, SoC, layout and Software with clear directives and milestones
• Strong collaboration with internal and external partners
• Work with business development to acquire key customers and partners for ongoing progress

Applicant Qualifications / Work experience / Skills

• Masters/PhD in EE and/or CS degree
• 15+ years' experience in the Semiconductor industry, at least 7 years in leadership
• Analog/Mixed signal, silicon bring-up experience required
• Software, AI Neural Networks background strongly desired
• Strong leadership, ability to take products from early concept to customer adoption
• Process & memory device technology background is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across different teams, internally and externally
• Strong communication skills with ability to adapt to leadership, external partners/customers, and internal partners required

U.S. Salary Range:

$200,000.00 - $275,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
