Sr Director, Multi-model Operations
Job Description
This position is responsible for driving the success of the Multimodal Mobility strategy at the operational level, facilitating market share growth of multimodal solutions within the overall modal mix. This role is a servant-leader and manager of people at the center of the mobility efforts, demanding equal parts operations support and accountability management within individual Markets and within Member Care. This role requires a high comfort level with being measured by the achievement of meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and other success metrics.
You Will...
- Be heavily embedded in the day-to-day operations of the state market Transportation teams driving conversations on the value of the multimodal products and enabling successful conversions of trips to these alternate modes.
- Lead regular, frequent engagements with local operations and Member Care managers and leaders, providing education, analysis and training on multimodal solutions.
- Continually identify root causes and barriers to achieving growth targets and obtaining resolution and/or removal of barriers in order to meet the organizational targets for rideshare, mileage reimbursement and mass transit utilization.
- Drive OKR alignment, accountability and achievement between the Product, Multimodal, Transportation, Member Care, and Finance teams. Influencing and supporting local actors to meet their quarterly and annual Key Result targets.
- Lead a team of Multimodal Business Managers (each responsible for their specific mode), while driving results by orchestrating the harmonious execution of the multimodal strategy.
- Maintain daily communications with Multimodal Business Managers to maintain critical knowledge of the modal current state and upcoming milestones, proactively removes obstacles, assigns resources and takes action to enable achievement of results.
- Collaborate with corporate Shared Services, including Continuous Improvement, Data and Analytics, Product, Project Management , Compliance, Legal, and Finance to gain support for key initiatives.
- Ensure standards set by transportation product leaders comply with contractual and statutory requirements, are easy to understand and implement, follow a repeatable format, and are effective.
- Have a bias for action through balancing resources and removing blockers to ensure the timely execution of prioritized tasks and projects.
- Lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Occasional business travel may be required.
Leadership Responsibilities...
- Determine appropriate resourcing of staff in order to achieve goals and objectives.
- Build an effective leadership team through mentoring and formal education that focuses on management and project management principles.
- Define annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
- Direct and mentor leaders on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies.
- Directs and coaches leaders on all human resource related processes including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, selection, terminations, compensation and rewards.
- Be accountable for collective results and recognizing others' contributions and share credit for success.
- Own attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.
- Direct and influence change management initiatives to drive improvements and efficiencies cross-functionally
- Have ability to direct and interact collaboratively and communicate effectively with external, internal customers, and stakeholders to address issues and ensure alignment across the organization to drive customer success
- Prepare and manage budget as assigned; analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions to maximize operational performance.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred; Master's Degree desired.
- 12+ years' experience.
- Seven plus years leadership responsibility.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Experience in transportation operations leadership preferred.
Salary Range: $159,900 - $215,900
*Bonus eligible based upon company and individual performance.
