Sr Director Od And Talent

Summary of the Position:

Enables the success of Montefiore's strategic priorities through a broad range of organization development (OD), talent management, change management, learning, and employee experience initiatives and programs for Montefiore Medical Center. Engages and supports a diverse group of stakeholders across Montefiore to build alignment across interests and needs and to ensure sustainability of change and programs. Consults to and coaches senior leaders. Leads and develops a team of OD, learning, and talent professionals.

Education/Skills:

Master's Degree required in Organization Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Minimum of 10 years experience in enterprise-wide change, organizational consulting, leadership development, and senior leadership team development. Minimum of 2 years experience managing teams.

Skilled facilitator in leading strategy development and execution, complex decision making, and team effectiveness. Experience using psychometric instruments with leaders and a range of data collection methods to identify organizational priorities.

Must be able to implement complex, organization-wide change, including building alignment with diverse groups with different priorities. Requires collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources to ensure quality decision making; Builds partnerships with a diverse group ; building collaborative relationships across Montefiore Health System; and leading implementation teams.

Must establish credibility and trust with senior leaders and other stakeholders, including the handling of highly sensitive information.

Must be able to assess and navigate organizational complexities, including the impact of the rapidly changing healthcare environment. An understanding of these complexities must be considered in the design and execution of all OD, talent, and learning interventions and programs.
