With ambition to further globalize services in support of clients and future growth potential, Vero was delighted to announce in July 2022 its acquisition by Accurate Background, a US firm, and the largest privately held provider of background checks in the US. 


The acquisition unified two employment screening market leaders, providing both organizations and their respective clients with a range of benefits, amongst which a new EMEA headquarters in the UK for Accurate, and the opportunity for Vero to develop greater client experience and service for the company’s growing roster of multinational clients.

About the role

We have ambitious plans for international growth and expansion. The newly created role of Sr Director of Sales would be the EMEA headquarters top sales leadership position. Working with senior UK and US colleagues you’ll be key in developing our sales and account management strategies, executing our international go-to-market plans whilst leading our Sales, Marketing, and Client Services teams to meet and exceed their goals.


As the two organizations align to become one global business, you’ll be fundamental in bringing us together by championing greater integration and alignment of our sales, marketing and account management functions.

To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate:

- Previous experience at Sr Director level in a similar role

- A strong background within a B2B sales environment ideally from a related industry with a focus on delivering innovative technology solutions

- In depth experience of developing and executing strategic plans to achieve targets and revenue growth

- Ability to lead, motivate and manage multi-discipline teams during periods of change.

- Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitors, and the market
