The Sr Director, Supply Chain will report to our SVP, Operations and will be responsible for leading a world class Supply Chain organization. Responsibilities include enterprise end-to-end planning, alignment, execution and development of a solid, scalable, and high- performing global supply chain.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the enterprise-wide Supply Chain organization, it’s employees and leaders
• Ensure employee engagement, professional development and performance are world class
• Find new vendors for sourcing materials from packaging to reagents
• Effectively evaluate new supply partners
• Manage activities related to strategic purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution of materials and products
• Ongoing process analysis and controlling along the supply chain
• Develop launch plans with key stakeholders and prepare for operational launch readiness of new products and supply partners
• Organize transportation to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
• Developing and realizing innovative concepts for minimizing stock on hand
• Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
• Monitor forecasts and turnover to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities
• Define and implement an integrated, documented process with performance metrics to assess supply chain performance
• Develop, implement and execute improvements in project processes
• Develop and implement procedures to evaluate and select suppliers
• Design and implement warehousing strategies for production materials and finished goods
• Consult with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products
• Participate in the coordination of product changes and new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
• Maintain consistent internal communications with national and international departments and teams
• Present strategies, goals and plans to Senior Management
• Ensure Supply Chain budget, goals and objectives are met
• Support company culture, goals, philosophies and strategies
• Knowledge and experience with international applications
• Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• A Bachelor’s degree is required relating to Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Purchasing (Advanced degree preferred)
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain or purchasing
• Experience leading Lean SC Management within a manufacturing or biotech environment
• Advanced knowledge of material flow, planning and scheduling
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to relationship building
• Proven ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization, integrate functional expertise with business knowledge to solve problems, meet priorities and deadlines in alignment with company goals and objectives
• Must be an influential leader who possess a cross-functional collaborative skill set
• Demonstrated ability to create, cultivate and implement change
• Proven Project management experience
• Extensive Supply or Demand Planning experience
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• This is an in-office position
• Travel up to 30%
