Become the latest leader in the Supply Chain Management organization, a dynamic group of managers, creative analysts, program managers, and planners responsible for a wide range strategic planning, operations, and execution functions focused on high-impact deliverables to meet key company goals and performance objectives. SCM is responsible for both strategy development and planning execution of a highly complex and global semiconductor supply chain. This function works in close collaboration with senior management from our business units, sales, customer operations, manufacturing and demand planning teams to achieve world-class delivery performance for our customers by focusing on long term, medium term and short term wafer starts planning, Fab capacity planning and resiliency. Specific focus is on key SCM metrics; customer delivery performance, lead times, inventory & cycle times.
The Supply Chain Sr Director supports the business by managing a team of strategic project and program managers, analysts to drive strategy around wafer starts planning, fab resiliency, Allocation planning during constrained situations, Inventory targets and Lead Times. The Supply Chain organization is focused on managing and supporting ADI's customers, collaborating with business units, and managing our global network of manufacturing and logistics partners. The Sr Director is a thought leader in the company setting the strategy, pace, and tone required to effectively meet customer and corporate manufacturing objectives. In addition, the Sr Director will lead processes to drive critical decisions by executives to optimize and improve wafer starts planning, Inventory and Delivery performance. Think of problems like "How do we optimize delivery in a constrained situation?", "What business processes and systems need to change to eliminate customer pain?", "How will the supply chain handle stress?", "What supply chain systems are necessary to support our ambition to grow up the stack?"
Responsibilities
- Engage on strategic priorities for fab planning across BU, sales and manufacturing
- Lead the Supply Chain Management wafer starts planning teams to define and deliver strategic programs for eg: allocations, resilience and facilitating at an executive level to achieve corporate goals
- Partner with manufacturing operations, business units, finance and sales to define program needs, design solutions through deep analytics, and initiate/execute projects balancing inventory, lead time & delivery.
- Oversee the formal Delivery Corrective Action process and drive system level changes throughout the organization.
- Coordinate strategies, influence partners, develop and manage projects and programs plans.
- Communication and enforcement of best practices in supply chain systems and planning.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of MS in Industrial Engineering, Statistics or a related engineering discipline. A PhD is preferred.
- 15+ years of Supply Chain and/or Operations leadership in the semiconductor industry.
- Operational experience in a Fab
- Experience with Blue Yonder/JDA planning environment
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate complex findings and ideas in plain language.
- Curiosity: Enjoying discovering and solving problems using data.
- Self-confidence: Ability to work in stressful situation when insights in (new) data set is required quickly
- Must have the ability to break down complex problems, systematically identify causes and develop solutions.
- Ability to adapt to altering situations, to persist despite setbacks, and to get things done.
- Must be a motivational leader who engages the team through enthusiasm and excitement about the business
- Experience managing in a challenging and fast pace global environment.
- Have the attributes of a mentor or teacher who can develop a performance-oriented team and build a strong bench of talent
- Must be highly collaborative and able to work effectively outside of the sphere of direct influence, have strong leadership skills and be able to communicate clearly
