MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

• 5+ years of DNS Administration experience
• 4+ years of IPAM (IP Address Management)
• 3+ years of DHCP administration experience
• 5+ year experience with 9.x DNS version BIND
• 5+ years of Linux systems administration
• 2+ Years Python Coding Language
• 2+ years of experience with command line scripting in Linux
• 2+ years Mysql experience
• 2+ years VMware experience

DESIRED SKILLS:

• 2+ years of previous experience with network routers and switches
• 2+ years of experience with using SPLUNK to create ad run reports.

JOB DUTIES:

• Systems Support
• Day to Day Operational Support
• Linux Admin support for all DNS 50+ systems
• Systems Backup and archiving of DB and configs
• Linux Systems Patching
• Systems OS and application upgrades
• New Hardware deployments
• Vendors dispatch coordination for support of hardware appliances
• System Development
• Design , Code and deploy scripts that will perform the following function
• Exception reports
• Daily health scripts
• Develop real-time reports (on demand systems stats)
• Develop scripts to pull API stats and alarm and alert for application performance issues
• NOC Support
• Lead any DNS troubleshooting effort on major outage bridges.
• Provide support for the NOC needing specific DNS troubleshooting assistance
• Operation Support
• Assist Network operations team with

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree in any IT related fields or comparable work experience
