Sr. Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for HDD FA all customers from China.
  1. Complete the FA work which assigned within the target TAT- including log FA and physical FA.
  2. Upload FA data to database and generate FA package based on FA data.
• Provide on-site technical support to customers as needed.
• Co-work with other function team like PCBA, WW FA,  FW, RWI, Servo, ME for issue dig out.
• Document failure analysis procedures, processes, and requirements.
• Provide effective information on tool or process improvements related to FA.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED： 

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Microelectronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Analysis, or related field

Experience:

• 2-5 years of failure analysis experience

• Hard disk drive (HDD) experience highly preferred

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of semiconductor technology, product testing, device reliability, and failure analysis

• Understanding of reliability testing concepts, failure mechanisms, and failure modes

• Familiarity with basic circuit knowledge • Programming skills in C++, Python, and VBA (preferred)

• Strong data analysis capabilities including data processing and statistical analysis

Soft Skills:

• Excellent oral English and communication skills

• Ownership and accountability • Independent thinking and problem-solving abilities
