About this role

Replacement Components Engineering provides critical factory authorized service parts to the North America market distribution. The core equipment includes Commercial HVAC and private branded products.

The position works closely with multiple design centers, manufacturing plants, product engineering, service team, and application representatives in order to set up critical service parts. Bills of material are downloaded from our MRP system and service parts lists are configured to create and release parts catalog information. The position interacts daily with the Commercial teams, providing back-up technical support for customer service and distribution organizations for second level support information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate electronic service bills of material
• Create graphics that link to the service bills of material
• Set up critical parts through the New Parts Setup (NPS) system
• Help develop service kits and instructions
• Provide second level technical support for parts issues
• Update Standard Work instructions

Level of Responsibility

• Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within the functional discipline
• Makes significant contribution to the team by applying knowledge of the discipline
• Works with moderate guidance on projects with short term focus
• Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline of the role; continues to develop knowledge

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree with 5+ years of experience in HVAC/Commercial Equipment

OR

• Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience in HVAC/Commercial Equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Commercial HVAC products
• Knowledge of Design Center bill of materials structure, purchased parts specifications procedures and bill of material structure development
• Knowledge of software packages such as Windchill, Excel, and SAP
• Ability to demonstrate intermediate Word and Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including technical bulletin and service kit instruction writing
• Strong team work skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong understanding of configurable HVAC products
• Superior follow-up and follow-through skills

Pay Range:

$74,181 - $130,206 Annually
