Sr Engineer, DevOps

Responsibilities:

• Use the best DevOps practices to optimize the software development process System administration, design, construction and operation of container platforms (Kubernetes) as well as in container technologies (Docker etc.) and their management systems
• Regularly use Linux, CI/CD Tools (Pipelines, GitHub, GitHub Actions/Jenkins), Configuration
• Management/Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Cloud technologies (VmWare, AWS, Azure)
• Build Automation and deployment configuration. Enable Product Automation scripts to be run in CI, triage and debug environment, script related failures on a regular basis. Clearly document, defects/improvements observed.
• Design, development, integration, and deployment of CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other teams to analyse requirements and resolve software issues.
• Ability to lead development of the infrastructure as to improve quality and efficiency using open-source technologies (Elasticsearch, Grafana) and homegrown tools (React, Python)

Required Education, Experience and Competencies:

• Graduate/ Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• 5 t0 10 years of overall DevOps/Related experience
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker/related technologies
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working both independently and within a team
• Knowledge of software test practices, software engineering, Cloud Technologies discipline
• Knowledge/Working experience with Static Code Analysis, License Check Tools, other Development Process Improvement Tools
• Knowledge/Experience with embedded Linux and RTOS (e.g. ThreadX, FreeRTOS) development (preferably on ARM) based school projects
• Domain Knowledge on Cellular wireless and WiFi is an asset
