Responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities

  • Responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, or product focused programs. Manages budgets and interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal functions. Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration. Manages schedule, budget, and tollgate process for NPI, requisition, or sustaining programs. Influences the programs to meet customer CTQs.
  • Applies existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes. Viewed internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline.
  • Presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.
  • Communicates solutions across their own function and with cross-functional partner organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related technical role
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program/Project Management.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
