Lead, develop and motivate a talented engineering team responsible for the development of Resideo's products. Leverage technical experience and skills to guide the team in the investigation and solution of challenging technical problems. Use leadership abilities to motivate and energize teams that are designing new or modifying existing products, parts, or processes while using advanced standards, methodologies, and tools. Balance team workloads and drive exceptional team performance with high impact for the business by collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams. Responsible to influence and challenge engineering teams to effectively solve complex engineering problems and accelerate innovation and growth while leading a team of talented engineers. Partner with customers and broader engineering teams to ensure the resources and skills needed to drive business growth.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or related. Five (5) years of progressive experience in Quality Management Systems, Process Audits, SixSigma, Lean Principles or a combination thereof.

Employer will accept a Master's degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or related and three (3) years of experience in Quality Management Systems, Process Audits, SixSigma, Lean Principles or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five (5) years of progressive experience as described above.

Special Requirements

Academic background or work experience to include: Lean Principles, Six Sigma Tools (i.e.VSM, QFDs); Training team members on CMMI and how to apply Lean Methodologies; Software Development life-cycle models; Process performance baselines and process capability baselines; CMMI, ISO 9001:2000. Approximately 15% domestic and 5% international travel required to unanticipated sites to review development process and institutionalize best practices in process and tools usage. Travel expenses paid by employer.
