Job Summary:
The senior events marketing specialist is responsible for executing the event by communicating and organizing timelines, workflow and responsibilities, developing and tracking multiple event budgets, and maintaining vendor management throughout the planning and execution processes for all events. He/she will manage our database, registration sites, build analytics and landing pages. He/she will demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills necessary for executing the seamless logistics of company events and prove the ability to evolve and implement strategic event planning improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute marketing projects. Plans and executes initiatives such as content development, optimization, advertising, events logistics, etc., to reach target audiences through appropriate channels.
- Write. Executes excellent written skills to successfully build collateral, programs and other supporting materials.
- Collaborate. Collaborates with key stakeholders to promote brand awareness, coordinate market research and marketing campaign efforts.
- Build relationships. Works with various marketing functions to understand and achieve marketing effectiveness goals.
- Communicate. Uses strong communications skills to communicate project progress across marketing and other departments.
- Manage budget. Manages tracking project budget.
- Track ROI. Track key marketing KPIs for ROI evaluation.
- Implement marketing strategy. Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create brand and company awareness.
- Support company visibility. Make important contributions to initiatives that support brand and company visibility internally and externally.
- Plan events. Manage the strategy and planning of an event. Work with internal and external resources to provide the most successful user experience. Ensure customer standards are upheld at all times.
- Document projects. Maintain key project documents including, but not limited to the project strategy, project plan, communication plan, budget, action item tracker, and monthly reports.
- Ensure all documents are archived and accessible by senior management.
- Coordinate event logistics. Understand and negotiate hotel and other event contracts and flag inconsistencies. Organize all meeting logistics and exhibit spaces to include room blocks, special events, food and beverage, audio-visual, and other miscellaneous services.
- Commit to deadlines. Work independently to meet deadlines while coordinating with and soliciting input on materials from team members, subject matter experts, user group members, and sales and marketing.
- Organize. Ensure that project team meetings have an organizational structure to work effectively including content, facilitation, and recording.
- Measure event performance. Implement appropriate reporting metrics for measuring the effectiveness of events.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience
- 2-3 years of Tradeshow experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Driven, proactive, self-motivated
- Ability to collaborate well with others and sustain necessary relationships, internally and externally.
- strong customer service skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and effectively multi-task
- Desire to contribute and succeed
- Ability to work independently and across marketing teams
- Experience with marketing software, events tools and MS Office
- Valid US Passport
Work Environment:
- Standard work environment
- Must live near Miami, FL (hybrid schedule)
- Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
- Will need to travel to manage trade shows or large events - no more than 20%
