Job Description

As an Sr. Field Marketing Manager, you will focus on building Account-Based Marketing programs. You will be responsible to advance the existing opportunities for the sales team within a targeted account and specific contacts, and generate new prospects by planning, organizing, and executing marketing programs.
The expectations of this role in the first year with SailPoint will be:
  • Within 3 months, it's expected that the regional marketer will understand the internal team structure in sales and marketing. Have developed an ABM plan with targets and pipeline in mind for assigned teams.
  • Within 6 months, it will be expected that you understand how we report on success and are able to build a reporting schedule with sales leaders. This report should contain not only the performance to goal of the activity you executed, but also how other parts of the business have contributed to impacting our lead and pipeline goals. Teams include campaign, web, paid media, event, webcasts, and partner marketing. You should be able to articulate the content required in driving awareness and demand gen across paid media, website, and nurture.
  • Within 1 year, it will be expected the marketer will have full knowledge of what your territories require and build a plan from scratch. You will provide feedback and contribute to the business overall by sharing best practices and ideas on how we can be more proficient in our Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with and leverage content from product marketing to curate content applicable to drive ABM programs
  • Pursue and nurture leads until qualified.
  • Learn the target market's pain points and dive deep into their niche.
  • Plan and execute the market strategies focused on product adoption and the overall success of the existing and prospective customers.
  • Measure and report on the success of campaigns & optimize approach based on real-time analytics and data.
  • Create and implement pipeline acceleration programs and lead generation towards specific, targeted accounts and contacts.
  • Improve marketing effectiveness by identifying opportunities through more effective audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes.
  • Enhance the buyer journey as it relates to content development and inbound marketing efforts.
  • Deliver training and tools to our sales team to help them be more efficient and effective.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years previous experience in a field marketing role and with 3+ years ABM experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience using Salesforce; experience with 6Sense or TechTarget a plus
  • Budget Planning and Management Skills
  • Agency management a plus
  • Experience in contributing to integrated campaigns that leverage the full marketing mix
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment
  • Self-starter who can be independent and the ability to execute flawlessly
  • Hands-on experience in executing an innovative and multi-part event and lead generation programs.
  • Extensive experience working with account-based marketing programs and large account selling teams.
  • Solid background in defining the strategy and collaborating with paid media, campaign, and other marketing teams to execute.
  • Experience in creating, launching campaigns, and reporting its results.
  • Considerable expertise in developing and managing multiple marketing programs simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in demand generation campaigns that target, segment, and list acquisition to build prospect lists.
  • Knowledgeable of content marketing and inbound marketing to generate more qualified leads.
  • Familiar with the technical sales cycle and can strategically use marketing communication to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications discipline preferred
  • Ability to travel nationally between 30-40% of the time
