Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager Supply Chain leads the financial performance management and control for inventories and supplier charges.

Your role:

  • Working proactively with business stakeholders to identify and deliver core improvement initiatives. Key stakeholders are the Head of Finance, the Head of Supply Planning, and the Procurement Business Partner for Sleep & Respiratory Care.
  • Proactively develop forward looking information on inventory development and supplier charges. Communicate and align financial performance and expectations with business stakeholders.
  • Identifying and implementing changes to ways of working to drive effectiveness, efficiencies, and results. Active involvement in the execution of strategic operational projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and transparency of the balance sheet, with key focus on the reconciliation of inventory of our factories, and consignment inventory with our suppliers. Maintain accuracy and transparency of the P&L, specifically Excess & Obsolescence provision, Good Received/ Invoice Receipt, Price differences from inventory purchases, and supplier charges.
  • Coordination of month-end close activity, including journal entry preparation and reconciliations. Maintaining a strong internal control environment and periodically assessing effectiveness. Supporting inquiries and data requests from Philips' external audit teams.

  • You've acquired 7+ years of experience in Finance with a focus on Supply Chain.
  • You will influence stakeholders and effectively delegate work to the General Business Service team.
  • Your skills include a deep understanding of financial control, accounting and business analysis, and excellent PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP).
  • You have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Economics.
  • You're an analytical person with critical thinking skills. You are able to translate insights into concrete actions.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
