Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr. Financial Analyst located in Milpitas, CA.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Sr. Financial Analyst role involves preparing and maintaining accounting records as well as analyzing and interpreting accounting records to support business needs. This position offers career growth and is eliglble for a hybrid work schedule.
What a typical day looks like:
- Coordinate and oversee the financial aspects of the assigned business segment
- Prepare Business Unit forecast Rev/VAM, Opex, Inventory, Customer P&L etc.
- Oversee the activities of the Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, 12 month rolling forecasts and annual audits
- Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value, including complying with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act
- Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations
- Review company financial statements and assigned GL accounts for P&L and Balance sheet for accuracy and clarity
- Support the management of the site
- Prepare and timely report out to cost center owners on business related responsibilities
- Other ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Finance Director, Finance management and site management
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Corporate Financial Analyst related experience
- Ad hoc reporting/projects
- Cash Projections and forecasting
- Strong Excel skills
- Finance cycle count audit experience
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Presentation/communication skills (internal and external customers)
- Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage several abstract and concrete variables
- Availability to assist with FA-related tasks/projects as required to meet business objectives and critical timelines (month-end, quarter-end, year-end)
