Notified , a segment of West Technology Group , is hiring a Sr Financial Analyst to work a hybrid schedule in the Midtown NYC office. Notified provides communications professionals with tools, technology and intelligence to target the right audiences, reach across multiple channels, and monitor the impact of their messages. Our digital media solutions help IR, PR and marketing professionals tell their brand story and engage media, investors, employees, and all of their key stakeholders. Notified is a rapidly growing business unit under West.
The Sr Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Notified FP&A team as we continue to build a robust team to support the growing Notified business. The Sr Financial Analyst is expected to collaborate with finance and business teams to understand underlying performance drivers, and to deliver timely, accurate business performance reporting. The Sr Financial Analyst will also be a key partner in the annual budgeting, monthly close, and forecasting processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual financial plan, periodic forecasts, and monthly variance analysis of actuals compared to plan, forecasts and prior periods
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly management reporting packages
• Proactively identify areas for performance or process improvement, recommending actions and positively contributing to the implementation of changes.
• Assist strategic business decision-making through financial modeling and analysis, including ad-hoc modeling, analysis, and presentations
• Produce, maintain, and help automate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables for key stakeholders
• Perform variance analysis with thoughtful insight into business results
• Support business decision making thru various ad-hoc analysis utilizing financial modeling skills

Minimum Qualifications
Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.
Education

• Bachelor's Degree in either Finance or Accounting is required

Experience

• Minimum 2 years accounting or finance experience required
• Minimum 1 year lead experience preferred
• Previous experience in financial analysis, planning, or budgeting

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong financial analysis skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle ad hoc responsibilities
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Knowledge of Oracle, SmartView, TM1 a plus

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The hiring pay range for this position is anticipated between $90,000 - $114,000 annually.
