Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is searching for a Sr. Financial Analyst! The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting development and usage of business analytics for the various operational units. The individual will work with development partners, IT, and key stakeholders to provide timely and impactful reporting and analytic tools to the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.), considering company's goals and financial standing

• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance

• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks

• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis

• Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast models

• Recommend actions to Finance and Operations leadership based on sound analysis

• Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts

• Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope

• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function

• Build and maintain financial reports in the Company's financial reporting information system

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated financial reports and dashboards for internal management, providing accurate and timely financial and operational recommendations

• Extracting, combining, and summarizing data to analyze the financial impact of new initiatives and effectively communicating key findings to senior leadership to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions

• Developing metrics and reports to provide controllership to new programs

• Supports ad hoc analysis and special projects

Qualifications:

• May required to have a valid driver's license

• Bachelor's degree from a college or University or five to seven years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Finance, Information Technology, or Accounting preferred.

• Advanced Excel Skills Required

• Experience with NetSuite & Hyperion preferred.

• Experience with SQL & Business Intelligence preferred.

Compensation: $111,000 - $133,000 per year
