We are searching for a Senior Financial Analyst for our Asset Servicing group.
We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need, and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.
The Office of the COO, Asset Servicing, is a global business unit delivering securities operations, cash operations, strategic capital investment deliver, regulatory change & reporting, business resiliency and control, data driven management and automation.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for managing the financial analysis, execution and performance of the Office of the COO and strategically partnering with leadership on strategic and business operations analytics. The Senior Analyst will function at a strategic level and manage all aspects of the financial performance and strategy of the business, as well as a team of analysts in Manila.
The Senior Financial Analyst in this role will develop and drive complex value-add financial data analytics for Office of COO, including its operational, digital, regulatory and enterprise capabilities, and deliver insights to inform strategic and tactical decision made by senior management. The Senior Analyst is expected to collaborate closely with Office of the COO , members across Finance globally, and with Executive Management. The Senior Analyst is expected to partner with leaders and business partners globally and act as the strategic business finance partner for partners at various levels of financial acumen. The Senior Analyst is expected to bring expertise to the role to foster macroeconomic understandings to aid the business in delivering key business results. The Senior Analyst acts with integrity, delivering expertise and service to internal clients and maintains executive presence in all forms of communication.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Manages the MRPA function of Office of the COO globally with staff in Manila, including management review and communication of financials at Executive level.
• Partners with local finance teams to find efficiencies and synergies in a regional model delivering for a global business unit.
• Effectively and efficiently performs FP&A activities for Office of the COO, including but not limited to month end close, management reporting, multi period forecasting and annual plan.
• Develop an understanding of operational and business drivers and priorities to assist Office of the COO leadership make informed , data driven decisions
• Act as an analytical advisor to the business unit. Develop a deep knowledge of the data available and mine it for insights that would enable and improve strategic and financial decision-making. Define and convey insightful metrics, analyze relevant factors, and develop financial models to measure and inform key strategic, operational, and tactical business decisions.
• Manage and analyze the financials with a critical and question eye and articulate assumptions the their impacts on financial performance
• Clear, concise, effective communication of the business drivers and financial impacts of Office of the COO, with the ability to translate complex financial and data analytics into clear, concise and well-articulated findings and recommendations
• Participate and support in strategic business initiatives including formation of business models and unit cost analytics
• Understanding of US GAAP
• Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment;
• Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes
• Provide consultation to optimize the use of real-world data to accelerate research, development and market decisions
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with 6+ years' relevant experience
• CPA/MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
• Demonstrates autonomous leadership and business partnership
• International financial management experience is preferred
• Experience with understanding and analyzing complex contracts and financial impacts.
• Financial modeling experience and understanding of financial statement
• Strong communication, analytical and data organization/ interpretation skills
• Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy is required
• Superior skills with Microsoft Office applications, experience with PowerBI and Teams a plus
