The opportunity
Adobe is seeking a rockstar Lead Finance Partner to provide critical financial, strategic, and operational support for the Digital Media Marketing organization, an award-winning organization that is the steward for one of the world's most recognizable and creative brands. This position will report to a Senior Finance Manager and will support marketing and campaign investments that drive +$10B in ARR across our industry leading businesses Creative Cloud and Document Cloud. In addition to driving planning, forecasting, and reporting, this position will also help to ensure alignment of spend to strategic growth initiatives while increasing return on our marketing dollars. The finance team celebrates understanding the big picture, and this role will balance deep financial reporting and oversight, with strategic investigation and analysis. What you will do:
- Support all aspects of variable marketing budgeting, close processes, and accrual review for select partners, including campaign and product level tracking
- Collaborate with finance peers to align annual and quarterly campaign spend with topline growth initiatives
- Evolve reporting of marketing spend data to simplify the structure and standardize within corporate tools
- Maintain a summary of risk and opportunities, to ensure business partners can honor their financial commitments, while funding critical needs
- Prepare executive presentations, telling the story of business performance, and risks and opportunities, using high impact visuals, with compelling insights
- Lead projects to simplify processes to reduce time to deliver, increase accuracy, and improve the user experience for our business partners
What you need to succeed:
- Positive demeanor, team oriented, and proven success in a heavily matrixed environment that changes as the business evolves
- Hands-on experience with Financial Modeling / Forecasting Trend & Variance Analysis / Budget Formulation & Management
- Strong analytical, and outstanding interpersonal skills, to articulate key financial implications/business impact
- High attention to details with excellent project management skills with the ability to take charge, set objectives, and get results.
- Experience in Tableau and Anaplan are preferred. SAP, TM1 and Power BI are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; CPA/MBA preferred, but not required
- Minimum 5 years of FP&A (or related) experience required
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $108,600 -- $221,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
