The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Portfolio Planning & Delivery (PP&D) team, responsible for supporting the operations of the finance, accounting and administration of the Tech Finance processes. This position provides complete support to the overall Global Technology & Operations (GT&O) Portfolio.

The key responsibility of this Senior Financial Analyst position is to assist with the end-to-end budgeting process with large, detailed analyses, updating monthly actuals and forecasts within the company's financial systems. The analyst would be the primary contact for all invoice related transactions including receiver of purchase orders, coding invoices and updating all accruals and pre-paid assets. The analyst will serve as the administrator of the company's internal contract system. The analyst will be responsible for the onboarding of all GT&O resources within ServiceNow and ensure all internal time-tracking is accurately reported. The analyst will be responsible to track and communicate key project performance indicators and operations for the department.

The role assists with driving change, to emphasize innovative problem-solving techniques, leverage frameworks for quality decision-making and capturing the business needs, objectives and goals to for the future. The analyst's role plays a pivotal role in ensuring all financial related details are accurately recorded and reported which all serve to help achieve AMCN goals and enable data-informed decision making.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly accrual entries for the accounting department for operating expenses and capital expenses on a quarterly basis.
  • Analyze p&l accounts monthly by vendor detail.
  • Prepare analysis for p&l activity with variances and ensure p&l and capital transactions are properly coded for reporting purposes.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned
  • Assist and support the GT&O leadership with the project management governance process
  • Collaborate and coordinate with PP&D Delivery Leads, senior PP&D leadership and Finance to design, develop and implement financial, along with project and resource reports using various PPM technologies
  • Track and communicate KPIs for the operations for the department.
  • Process and track invoices ensuring proper budget keeping for month - end close, rolling forecast and expense tracking across all GT&O businesses.
  • Builds and maintain reports and dashboards, such as timesheet dashboards and reports and portfolio financial reports.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business
  • 4+ years of experience as a senior financial analyst or senior accounting position
  • Experience in working in a Technology department is preferred
  • Experience in working in the Media Industry is preferred
  • MS Office expertise, including Outlook, Teams, PowerBI, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Oracle Essbase, Oracle Planning and Oracle EBS is a plus
  • Knowledge of financial processes and terms
  • Proficiency in the use of PPM tool(s), ie. Service Now, Jira, etc. is a plus

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 commensurate with experience.
