Sr. Financial Systems Analyst | Accounting

Summary:  

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Financial Systems Analyst | Accounting to oversee accounting system requirements for day-to-day activity. Reporting to the Director, Financial Systems | Accounting, this position will be responsible for financial systems support for IT, accounting and finance and working on new functionality. This will include testing and executing of new functionality and support the change management efforts as required by the business. Also included will testing related to our implementation of our perpetual inventory system.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Work directly with corporate and regional finance / accounting stakeholders to determine ERP requirements

Working with IT, provide support on triage, bug fixes, enhancements, end-user support, and application monitoring

Perform Accounting / finance system maintenance

Distill requirements into implementation plans and execute

Act as an intermediary between business unit and IT to help accounting / finance achieve their desired outcomes

Participate in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) projects, including planning, project management, requirements, design, conversion, testing, and implementation

Provide regular project status reports on project milestones, tasks, issues, risks

Assist with ad hoc requests and special projects

 

Desired Qualifications and Skills: 

Experience using Microsoft Dynamics software solution, required.  (Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferred).

Knowledge of Cannabis Industry and products, preferred.

High attention to detail, required.

Experience implementing SOX controls using standard ERP System functionality.

Excellent organization skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Good time management/prioritization skills.

Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision accurately and on time.

Ability to maintain data integrity & confidentiality.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Experience

Five or more years of experience working with financial / ERP systems

Prior experience working in accounting or financial services

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

Analytics, PowerBI, Management Reporter in FnO, Business Objects) preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or other relevant field preferred

Microsoft NAV, and/or Microsoft Finance & Operations (FnO) preferred


Hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $104,000 per year.
