Huntsman is seeking a Sr FP&A Specialist supporting the GBS located in Heredia, Costa Rica. This position will report to the FP&A Manager.

 In summary, as the Sr FP&A Specialist, you will:

• Consolidate the financial results of the Polyurethanes division on a monthly basis and act as the SME/Expert in IBM Planning Analytics system.
• Lead the overall coordination of comprehensive planning and reporting activities, which encompass monthly financial forecasts and Annual Operating Plans.
• Accountable for the accurate and timely submission of reports, ensuring all elements reconcile, conducting necessary allocations, and performing logical checks for coherence.
• Collaborate closely with the finance team of the Polyurethanes division to ensure the precise, thorough, and punctual submission of the close process.
• Generate financial reports and conduct analysis for management, furnishing the division with financial and business support to facilitate strategic business decisions.
• Collaborate with the Division leadership to understand their requirements and modify reports, accordingly, ensuring that the Division expectations are met by presenting information in a different perspective.
• Conduct regular calls with the Division leadership to provide comprehensive explanations of variations and discrepancies, ensuring clear understanding and effective communication of financial insights.
• Assist in the automation of presentations and reports derived from the IBM Planning Analytics system, streamlining processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as a trusted business partner, utilizing financial and business expertise to guide and influence strategic financial decision.
• Efficiently communicate significant initiatives from the Global GR&A group to relevant stakeholders and the broader organization, including senior management, as necessary.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or related fields
• At least 7 years of experience in financial roles
• English Advanced level B2 - C1
• Proven ability in Forecasting and Financial Analysis
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a high degree of initiative and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and ability and desire to learn multiple systems (examples include IBM Planning Analytics, SAP, SAP HANA Data Warehouse Power BI, etc.)
• Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business partners.
• Exhibits a strong sense of ownership with eagerness to learn, continuously improve and to effectively prioritize and manage tasks concurrently.
