ABOUT THE POSITION
The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for the relentless improvement of the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.
The eCommerce Technology team is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer. As a Full Stack Level 3, you will utilize your knowledge of industry best practices to develop server/client-side code and build scale-able, distributed, component-based objects that meets the needs of our consumers. This is the perfect opportunity for a developer who enjoys wearing multiple hats and has an interest in eCommerce.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Develop, test, deploy, and optimize our eCommerce platform by working within our platforms (AWS, SFCC, AEM and third-party systems)
- Develop both server and client-side JavaScript
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implement 3rd party REST APIs and test-driven secure code
- Build reusable code and libraries by utilizing OOP, SOLID and other design patterns
YOU ARE
- A doer, able to work on projects with little supervision
- A knowledgeable resource, well-versed in optimizing websites for speed, usability, and reliability
- A team player, working closely with fellow developers to understand, adapt, and execute project goals
YOU HAVE
- 5-8 years coding experience
- Proficiency with JavaScript
- AWS Lambda (NodeJS) experience is a plus
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) experience is a plus
