We're in search of a great Full Stack Engineer who enjoys interacting directly with customers using our API. This means being deep in the weeds of the system, how things work, and creative problem solving. You will work closely with our customer base, directly helping with solution consulting & resolving technical issues. This is a high impact engineering role handled by one of our top engineers today. ResponsibilitiesSolution consulting with other engineers regarding architecture, implementation, and best practices.
Troubleshoot directly with customers using the API to validate JSON responses and other I/O.
Conduct root cause analysis with a series of tools and logs to find the source of unique behavior in the system.
Communicate effectively and timely with customers regarding the unique behaviors we’re analyzing.
Collect the requirements of behaviors and integrate into the roadmap.
Work on new features and capabilities based on input.
Build reusable code and libraries which will be useful in the future.
Stay up to date on the relevant/applicable engineering trends in the market.
Create documentation regarding frequent questions and common patterns.
Create technical documentation to make other developers’ lives easier.
Meet with the software development team to define the scope and scale of software projects.
Work closely with designers and backend engineers.
Work in Java when triaging and/or making changes to our backend.
Work in NextJS when triaging and/or making changes to our middleware/frontend layers.
Produce new client-facing features.
Optimize applications for maximum scalability and speed.
Translate UI/UX wireframes to visual elements where necessary.
Minimum of 7 years professional experience as a full stack engineer.
Minimum of 2 years Java experience.
Minimum of 2 years NextJS experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience working directly with customers.
A willingness and curiosity for learning new technologies.
Ability to work autonomously.
Clear & friendly communication skills and enjoys working directly with customers.
Excellent project and time management skills.
