Sr Full Stack Engineer - LATAM

Virtasant is a leading cloud consulting services provider. We heavily focus on lift & shift, cloud-native development, cloud cost optimization, and migration services. As a consulting company, we often face the challenge of creating an engineering team in a matter of a week or two. To do that, we have created a secondary support business that runs a talent network and provides staffing services.

The position

Our goal is to help organizations thrive in the cloud, and we offer a wide range of services and technology platforms to help them accelerate and optimize their cloud journey. To support our clients on this ambitious journey, we are looking for highly skilled, client-focused project leaders to lead Virtasant projects and ensure that clients see amazing outcomes on every single engagement. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full scope and delivery of one or more projects, working with a global team of elite professionals leveraging some of the most innovative technologies in the cloud space.  You will have the opportunity to work with leading companies to design and implement solutions that have real impact, while helping grow Virtasant's presence in Northern California.

Responsibilities

• Leading, planning, and implementing with team members and IT, data and cloud designs, given data sources, data locations, and use cases.
• Processing logs into data platforms, analytics, and custom visualizations for large-scale data analysis.
• Design and implement framework modules to extract data from various source systems, validate the integrity, apply business transformation, and store data in a Data Lake (AWS, Azure, others)
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with the “Big 3” cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their product suites.

Requirements:

• Significant experience (5+ years) managing complex software engineering projects as part of a consulting or professional services organization.
• Advanced knowledge of Python
• Experience building applications using React and Javascript
• Experience with Grafana, Kibana, Plotly, and Retool

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with computer architecture (ARM CPUs, GPUs)
