We are looking for an IoT Full Stack Developer to support our largest and most strategic customers at Carrier. As an IoT Developer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity in integrating operating technologies like Heating, Ventilation, Fire, and Safety with an IoT platform and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. In this role, you will leverage your experience with all levels of the software stack, including edge stack, back-end databases, APIs, front-end UI frameworks, and cloud service, to support our Customer Integration needs for developing scalable, production-grade software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the full lifecycle of the integration platform: brainstorming, design, development, and delivery
• Capture requirements with Customers, Commercial and product teams
• Hands-on engineering of difficult and complex sections of the application
• Deliver solutions in a few weeks from concept to delivery
• Establish strategy for incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
• Produce detailed functional and technical software specification documents for scalable applications
• Rapidly embrace, advise, and implement new technologies

Key Sills:

• Hands-on experience (7+ years) in AWS cloud-native environment with work experience in AWS IoT, AWS Functions, Kinesis, Fargate, DynamoDB, RDS, and Elastic Beanstalk
• Thorough understanding of ReactJS, NodeJS, and Python with experience in using and implementing them in commercial products
• Strong knowledge of IoT communication protocols: MQTT, BACNET, REST, and Graph QL APIs
• Experience with an Edge framework, e.g., Dell, HPE, AWS Greengrass or Azure IoT Edge, etc.
• Experience in using reporting frameworks like Grafana, Dash, AWS Quicksight, etc.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JMeter, Jest, etc.
• Experience in Data Analytics platforms like Snow Falke, Dremio, Redshift, etc.
• Experience with an existing IIoT platform, like ThingWorx, Cumulocity, and Bosch, will be an added plus.
• Experience in a Graph Database will be an added plus.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, developing, and inspiring people and teams

Education:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
