Sr Global Marketing Manager
Job Description
Verisign enables the security, stability, and resiliency of key internet infrastructure and services, including providing root zone maintainer services, operating two of the 13 global internet root servers, and providing registration services and authoritative resolution for the .com and .net top-level domains, which support the majority of global e-commerce.
The Sr Global Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy and development of integrated marketing programs to drive market preference and demand for Verisign domain names and related products and services. This position supports and drives the development and execution of all aspects of a go-to-market strategy, including industry leading creative and media strategies to support global marketing programs. This role is also responsible for measuring the effectiveness of executed programs and reporting on program performance. In addition, he/she keeps up with market development, market intelligence and the competitive environment in order to be a key contributor to product strategy for Verisign domain names and related products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for creative direction, execution and optimization of global marketing programs and campaigns for identified regional markets and oversees tactical implementation and execution.
- Drives coordination across multiple teams for campaign execution, including content & social marketing, product, design & usability, account management, events, legal and finance.
- Coordinates across market research, data analytics and optimization, international channel marketing, product marketing and other cross-functional teams to improve the effectiveness of Verisign investments in market.
- Measures campaign performance to report on the effectiveness of global and product marketing programs with a focus on continuous improvement YoY.
- Leverages product positioning to develop marketing strategies and messaging that articulate the value proposition and differentiate our products from competitors and alternative solutions.
- Builds highly functional relationships with partners and agency peers to ensure clear communications and effective project delivery.
Job Qualifications
Education
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience Marketing or business-related field required
- Graduate Degree or equivalent work experience Marketing or business-related field preferred
Relevant Experience
- 10 years of related experience progressively responsible related business experience required
- 5 years of related experience international or global experience preferred
- Experience in running integrated digital marketing campaigns required
- Experience in content marketing required
Skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
