Plano, TX | Hybrid

This role’s primary function is to provide “high-touch” HR Business Partner support for our internal client group of approximately 250 employees and leaders, serving as the primary point of contact for all People Operations issues or needs. 

This includes: 

  • Coaching leaders through complex employee issues, conflict resolution, and crucial conversations. 
  • Proactively meeting with leaders to understand organizational, performance, or cultural challenges and provide early intervention to potential issues. 
  • Conducting climate assessments and guiding the organization through action planning to maintain organizational health. 
  • Guiding leaders in organizational design and forecasting future talent needs. 
  • Leading the development and execution of the HR communications strategy. 
  • Developing and executing organizational engagement and retention strategies and providing guidance to departmental initiatives and projects.  
  • Supporting the hiring process through advising on job leveling decisions, conducting interviews for leader level positions, and supporting inter-company transfers. 
  • Leading the promotion process, guiding the process from budgeting through approval. 
  • Assisting employees and leaders with questions regarding policies, procedures or general HR needs. 
  • Thinking strategically to help align HR initiatives with organizational goals. 
  • Analyzing data and metrics to identify trends and make informed decisions, as well as solve complex problems. 
  • While rare, this position is responsible for conducting investigations and ensuring successful resolution reached. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Have demonstrated the ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust & credibility among all levels in the organization. 
  • Have well-developed problem-solving skills and an ability to evaluate organizational need and risk to recommend viable solutions to complex issues. 

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources  
  • Experience providing coaching & guidance to employees and leaders on complex issues  
  • Be proficient in handling employee relations, including conducting investigations  
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices  
  • Organized and detail oriented 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Has flexibility to adapt to change 
  • Exhibits integrity and high standards in work quality 
  • Displays care, empathy, and understanding towards team members including valuing diversity and differences amongst individuals  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or equivalent experience 

Added Bonus if you have:

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP certification or equivalent
  • Experience in a tech environment
