Job Description
Job Overview Responsible for the maintenance and operational performance of HRIS vendor hosted applications. The incumbent will be able to act independently and will mentor more junior colleagues. Incumbent is able to work independently to solve system issues and work with vendors to resolve problems. This role will "own" one or more HRIS vendor hosted applications. Essential Functions • Provides ongoing support and performs specific administrative tasks for assigned system applications. • Performs non-routine systems maintenance (record retention, form completion etc.) and supports cyclical processes. This includes insuring appropriate systems configuration to support policies and processes, coordination of communications to key stakeholders, data maintenance and reporting. • Acts as a primary point of contact for documentation of current admin processes, and establishing global standards. • Works with key internal and external contacts and nourish those relationships. Partners with HR Functional Owners, IT and the HR PSC to insure deliverables are achieved and maintained. • Participates in specifications, user acceptance testing and implementation/upgrades of system enhancements for assigned system applications. • Participates in the integration of the systems with all HRIS technologies • Identifies areas for possible process improvements (administrative, training, support processes) for assigned system applications. • Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) around the system including feature recommendations, system limitations, recommending best usage of system to map with internal processes etc. • Keeps abreast of the system level changes by attending periodic vendor calls and user conferences • Produces custom reports on request. • Acts as secondary point of contact with vendor for resolution of issues related to system performance • Coordinates with all stakeholders to ensure the selected technology operates efficiently. • Provides training on the product and establish usage rights for administrators, HR, managers and employees. • Ensures assigned tools work with PSHR as well as other major HRIS applications. • Ensures all businesses, subject matter experts (SME), staff, and HR have appropriate access to and training on the tool. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree Req • 2-3 years of HRIS experience Req Or • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req • Excellent project management and problem solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to lead cross-functional project teams. • Good understanding of international HR laws such as data protection.
