Sr Insight Analyst - Customer Data

Job Summary
The Sr. Insight Analyst works as a key resource and subject matter expert (SME) for business rules, strategy, and privacy of the customer data for the Nissan and Infiniti brands in the US market. Role supports the effort to transform the customer experience by developing strategy and process to support the customer needs both in-store and digitally. The Sr. Insight Analyst must influence the organization to make effective use of customer data to drive improved business processes and enhanced customer experience.
Job Functions

1. Support the development and administration of Master Data Management (MDM) tools and processes.
2. Consults regularly with business functions to discuss data and analytic needs and advise functions on optimal use of available data, analysis, reports, and models to support those needs.
3. Cultivate deep understanding of key drivers of model and market performance and investigate data and analytics solutions necessary to achieve desired business outcomes.
4. Provides proactive analytical insights on emerging issues, long-term trends, and alternatives for utilization of marketing resources to the analytical staff at Nissan HQ and Nissan Sales Regions including analytically derived recommendations regarding the allocation of said resources to maximize margins and optimize the marketing dollars.
5. Develop and distribute advanced visualizations, analysis, diagnostics, and insights regarding national, regional, and local market as it relates to market demands, consumer preferences, vehicle sales, competitor performance, inventory mix, and other conditions that may affect a group's concern.
6. Ensure the analytical tools comprised of comprehensive 1st party and 3rd party data is continually meeting the needs of the business and that routine reports and visualizations are streamlined to improve and minimize duplication of effort for assigned regional and headquarters analysts and decision-makers. Coordinate efforts with other departments as needed to determine the proper strategy to satisfactorily meet current needs.
7. Assists in validating the quality and accuracy of raw data that enters the tool. Coordinates with staff, stakeholders, outside vendors, and the internal IS department to ensure accurate and effective analysis. Identifies information gaps and works with related departments to meet current analytical needs.
8. Manage 3rd party suppliers that support customer data.
Minimum Qualifications
The following statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.
Job Knowledge and Skill:
In-depth and proven knowledge of Marketing & Sales and related data and its sources. Ability to properly integrate multiple sources of information while maintaining data integrity and usefulness. Direct experience analyzing data for trends and insights and development of compelling stories with data.
1. Relationship and Communications Skills
Ability to communicate successfully with clients at all levels to understand their needs and match it to the complex set of data that it may require to be compiled and analyzed. The ability to explain complex analysis in such a way that it can be used effectively by decision makers. Ability to communicate with highly technical individuals about the desires, insights and observations of the business and to ensure development and deployment of appropriate solutions.
2. Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in quantitative or business related field is required. A total of 5 years of analytics reporting and insight experience with increasing responsibility in multiple areas of sales and marketing function within a large scale corporate organization. Automotive experience is preferred.
3. Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of database software, spreadsheets, and other applications used to create specialized reports and applications of a highly technical nature. Experience using Master Data Management tools preferred. Tableau Visualization experience a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with SQL coding and ETL is preferred. Experience with cloud databases (Snowflake) is preferred.
