About the Role

You would be a member of the Global Investment Reporting team in the Americas region and a strong contributor to the implementation of a new accounting standard, IFRS. You work closely with investment reporting colleagues in Kansas City and Slovakia. You also engage with other teams, such as Asset Management, External Reporting, IT and others within Finance. You use your knowledge of investment products to provide accounting, reporting and analyses across all relevant valuations within Swiss Re.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and review key account reconciliations and substantiation as part of the financial close process
- Work with others to proactively communicate and resolve any issues uncovered in the close process
- Ensure investment reporting results are met on a timely basis with high accuracy, including delivery of IFRS reporting
- Support other departments during implementation of new investment products and during merger and acquisition events
- Support the monitoring of outsourced accounting & reporting tasks

Essentials
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in accounting and finance, preferably in investments
- University degree, ideally with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
- General understanding of multi-valuation concept (US GAAP, Statutory & Regulatory, IFRS, Tax Reporting)

- Strong computer/office tool skills, especially Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power BI)
