What Will be Your Purpose?
Senior IT SharePoint Developers are responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions. Senior IT SharePoint Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation, and performance testing of purchased products. Senior IT SharePoint Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Senior IT SharePoint Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training, and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
What We are Looking For?
Technical:
- A thorough knowledge of and expert skills in configuration, administration, support, and use of SharePoint 2010-2016 and SharePoint Online, including the structure and functionality, from the Site Collection to the end-user interface.
- Extremely experienced with all aspects of site support as a site owner and site collection admin.
- Conduct systematic and logical troubleshooting, able to identify potential solutions.
- Skilled with web technologies in SharePoint including HTML, CSS, scripting languages like JavaScript and jQuery.
- Solid understanding of both Enterprise and Web Content Management.
- Knowledge of and experience with SharePoint Search, configuration, and support.
- Basic understanding of Enterprise Records Management.
- Knows Managed Meta Data.
- Knowledge of modern SharePoint app development model.
- Ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot Nintex workflows.
- Experience with SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, and other tools to support SharePoint.
- Experience with 3rd party tools e.g., Nintex, ShareGate, ControlPoint.
- Knows how to design SP 2016 / SP 2019 / SP Online / Hybrid architectures (site collections, site hierarchy, content types).
- Solid understanding of the server side of SharePoint configuration and how it works with SQL.
- May have some Central Administration experience in SharePoint.
- Must have excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members, customers, and management.
- Identify risks, evaluate controls, and prepare findings and recommendations for new technologies and capabilities within SharePoint.
- Team player, working with others to share knowledge back and forth.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and support when necessary and provide mentoring to junior staff members.
- Assist in developing SharePoint Governance, enterprise, and team level, plans and support best practices for developing SharePoint-based solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Interpreting user problems/needs to the technical teams, interpreting technical answers to users.
- Understand and document the functional requirements to capture business requirements and understand how to exploit the available tools to achieve a business need for SharePoint.
- Work with customers and their internal development teams in designing, administration, and maintenance of SharePoint 2016 business solutions in an on-premises environment.
- Able to facilitate SharePoint training and education sessions in classroom, remote, and one-on-one settings.
What You Must Have?
- Required Work Experience: 5+ years related work experience developing, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions in SharePoint.
- Required Education: Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field.
- Experience and understanding with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.
- Proficiency using versioning tools.
- Thorough knowledge of Information Technology fields and computer systems
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible team player.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle.
- Proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language.
- Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio.
- Proficiency using debugging tools.
- High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
- Experience mentoring / or leading other development staff.
- Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness.
What is Preferred?

General Physical Demands:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
