TITLE: Sr IT System Administrator

JOB LOCATION: 350 Campus Drive, Marlborough, MA 01752

DUTIES: Install, configure and maintain all software associated with Storage/Backup Administration including capacity planning, monitoring and performance analysis, system administration, cloning, replication and migration.

• Schedule and monitor system backups using IBM TSM EE and Commvault as backup software, and EMC Data Domain as storage pool.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve/troubleshoot performance and other issues with TSM, Commvault and Data Domain.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery test and ensure backups in healthy & ready state for DR.
• Coordinate the installation and configuration of various storage systems and related equipment (EMC Storage Arrays, CISCO SAN Equipment, Servers).
• Monitor status and performance of Storage systems using monitoring tools and applications available.
• Administer SAN & NAS, including zoning, masking, volume creation, tuning, reporting, and diagnostics.
• Utilize his engineering experience in EMC Data Domain, EMC VNX Storage Arrays & CISCO SAN equipment to perform the duties listed above.
• Install, configure, manage, troubleshoot, proactively monitor, and conduct performance tuning of TSM Servers Version 6 or higher, and Commvault version 11 or higher.
• Write reports and procedure manuals.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related, or foreign equivalent, plus 5 years as a Systems Administrator, plus 5 years of experience with virtualization infrastructure and hyper-converged solutions (VMware and Nutanix), Citrix infrastructure including ADC appliances, VDA, storefronts, delivery controllers, Citrix Cloud, and ADM service, Rackmount and Blade Technologies (Dell, Cisco UCS), SAN and NAS storage technologies, Dell EMC Unity, PowerMax, DataDomain, Backup and Restore, Replication and archiving solutions including IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, and Commvault. Experience may be gained concurrently.
