Job Description

Team: IT

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. IT Systems Engineer, AI & Business Solutions in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of IT systems engineering, automation, and AI-driven workflow design, focused on transforming how compliance, audit readiness, and internal operations are executed at scale. You will design and build intelligent integrations and automated systems that replace manual, repetitive processes with reliable, scalable, and observable solutions. Working across IT, security, compliance, and business teams, you will translate operational pain points into durable technical architectures. The role emphasizes building agent-driven workflows and data pipelines that connect enterprise systems and enable real-time access to trusted information. You will also play a key role in improving system reliability, audit readiness, and operational efficiency across the organization. This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role where automation directly enables business scalability and trust.

Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement automation and integration systems that streamline compliance, audit, and operational workflows by reducing manual effort and improving accuracy.
  • Build and maintain scalable data and system integrations across platforms such as identity, security, cloud, and SaaS tools, ensuring reliable data flow into centralized analytics environments.
  • Develop agent-driven and API-based workflows that enable conversational access to enterprise data and simplify reporting and operational queries for non-technical users.
  • Own the full lifecycle of automation systems, including development, monitoring, troubleshooting, alerting, and continuous improvement as business needs evolve.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, security, compliance, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Improve system observability and operational resilience through logging, monitoring, runbooks, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Support audit readiness by building systems that automate evidence collection, reporting, and IT General Controls enforcement.
  • Requirements:

    • 5–7 years of experience in IT systems engineering, software engineering, automation, or internal platform development roles.
    • Strong programming and scripting skills, ideally in Python, with experience building APIs, integrations, and automation workflows.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
    • Experience integrating enterprise systems such as identity management (e.g., Okta), SaaS tools, and security platforms into unified workflows.
    • Strong understanding of API design and consumption, including authentication, retries, rate limits, and error handling across distributed systems.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like GitHub, and production-grade deployment practices.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions with measurable impact.
    • Familiarity with observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and operational documentation.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive compensation ranging from $150,000 to $187,000, with equity opportunities.
      • Flexible, virtual-first work culture with remote work flexibility across the United States.
      • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
      • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contributions.
      • Generous paid time off, company holidays, and flexible scheduling.
      • Paid parental and caregiver leave to support family needs.
      • Home office stipend and financial wellness support, including advisory services.
      • Regular virtual and in-person team events fostering connection and collaboration.
